MINDFUL ART BOOK - MARCH 12
MINDFUL ART BOOK - MARCH 12
FOUR WEEK CLASS
STARTS MARCH 15TH
LOCATION: 1118 BROAD ST
Journalling decreases stress and cultivates joy.
Simply put, journaling is OUR jam AND the practice of journaling can inspire your whole being. Art journaling is simply about playing, allowing yourself to express yourself in whatever way you feel in the moment.
Art journaling is the same as written journaling except you’re using art supplies to express your thoughts. This is all about process, not the product. If you’ve ever written in journals - my guess is that you didn’t worry about what you were writing - you just wrote. This is the same for art journalling you’re going to be simply expressing yourself through shape and colour (while playing with some wicked supplies). In this class you will be trying out different techniques, using a variety of supplies and different colour combinations, all the while NOT worrying about the final result.

What is an art journal?
An art journal is a visual diary. It is a great way to dump feelings and set goals in your life. The best part… although it is very intimate reflection of you, it is imagery, not words. That means it is a safe place for you to put your most personal thoughts and feelings.
Who is this class for?
YOU! Anyone. Everyone. This class is suitable for anyone aged fourteen and older. No, this is a process driven experience, it is not about being "good" at art or crafts.
Do I have to come to all the dates listed?
No, you choose between ONE morning and a 4 WEEK registration.
Can I come more than once?
Yes, if you wanted to, you would build on your skills by coming more often. Every class will have its own unique creative flare.
