Drawing doesn’t have to be terrifying. You will learn soothing techniques and calming skills to encourage creative drawing.

Drawing for the terrified is an easy approach to drawing. This class is about embracing play and exploration of simple mark making. Explore mark making, texture, line, colour and composition on different surfaces.

YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Slow down and really see, to enable you to draw.

  • Realize a good drawing can be a drawing that does not look like anything. It may look like scribbles and that is ok.

  • Exercises that allow you creative freedom to explore with out expectation of final results

  • Explorative activities on multiple paper surfaces.

SKILLS YOU WILL LEARN

  • Observational and experimental drawing skills

  • Non traditional drawing skills

  • Experiment with several types of traditional and non traditional drawing media
