GET HOOKED - How to crochet

"Yarn, patterns, and needle sizes have come such a long way since your grandmother's afghans. Creatively, there is just so much to get into, so much to play with. It's an amazing way to turn inward and get off your phone." - Krysten Ritter

Learn how to crochet. With these basics, you can make a scarf, hat, pillow, bag or any number of projects.

The art of crochet has only been practiced in the last couple hundred years.  Much like knitting, you are interlocking loops of yarn to create a fabric, except crochet is much faster and is done using a hook rather than two needles. And more good news... mistakes are an easy fix!  In this class we will learn all the basic stitches used in crochet while completing 3 washcloths and toque, building upon the skills learned in each class.   Perfect for the beginner looking to learn this wonderful skill or the fibre worker looking to add to their repertoire.  We will also learn to read patterns (both written and charted) and talk about finishing techniques.

ALL supplies Included.
